Hey Dan,
All good on Spirit.
Vessel running well.
Please read any flagged emails.
Time stamp on 16 camera CTV behind by 60 minutes and Port side wing station CTV behind by 6 minutes. ( MRF Submitted )
When I swung back on I noticed the Marina pontoon at our berth has been hit at the end by obviously the stern of vessel. Damage has been done to the raw water overflows and to the pontoon. The Pontoon has a bolt bent over and sticking out where the raw water overflows have scraped along it and bent bolt over. Photos sent to Management and Gene. Gene asked me to submit MRFS for the damage to the raw water overflows and the pontoon as no one had reported any of the damage.
Be careful when berthing vessel that stern of vessel doesn't hit the corner of pontoon where the damage is, as the bolt will cause more damage to raw water overflows. Gene has Materials on order to replace the hole corner.
1730 Run in place from QC4 to GL3 until further notice.
You guys may have a charter on Thursday October 2nd. GPC are organising it. GPC came down with Sean this week to look over the vessel loading ramps at the Marina. Most of the people travelling will be over 60 and 6 will be on walkers. They will all be seated downstairs. They have asked for the boarding ramp to be pulled as close as possible to vessel and that lines be placed either side of boarding ramp and attatched to vessel to close the gap in case someone slips or trips. Also you will need a crew member at the top of ramp to assist passengers when entering the vessel. They will be bringing food onboard and have asked if they can leave rubbish onboard which I said is fine. They will also be utilising the PA system and walking around with the microphone so please make sure all volumes are fine.. Sean will touch base with you regarding Charter.
We have replaced all the black wrap on the internal steps. I haven't put the zebra danger tape across the tops, instead just puta watch your step sticker .There is a roll of Zebra tape in the cupboard if you think steps need it on them.
First Aid kit has been serviced.
Unirail on roof and Bonnet has been measured up for replacement.
Last day of Swing and QC asked us to do an Emergency Evacuation Drill at QC4. Drill went well. 197 pax onboard.
We managed to get all life jackets put away but very rushe .There maybe a couple of lights hanging down.
No other news to report.
Have a great swing.
