5/8 maintenance onboard to conduct 1000hr service on mains and gearbox.
Stb main turbo has small coolant leak and parts have been ordered
Port main has a small leak on the raw water, maintenance are aware
Stbd main empeller has been changed, both pumps still leaking slighlty
7/8 MRF submitted for wheelhouse lights control switch as it's not illuminating
9/8 charts updated
12/8 runs have been adjusted to suit shut down on glng, morning run 0600 has been pushed back to 0610, afternoon run 1800 has been pushed back to 1810, this is so shutdown crews have time for handovers.
port main engine water pump has failed on approach or gl4. Engine was shut down and duty phone called. Vessel brought back to marina on one engine, new water pump and housing fitted, vessel is operating as per normal. Conclusion was water pump shaft had snapped resulting in failure.
12/8 runs adjusted again, the evening 1725 run has been pushed back to 1745 5 minutes after James Grant to accomodate for the shutdown
Stbd main engine keeps throwing fault codes due to a faulty cam angle sensor. Maintenance are aware and awaiting parts.
one fender has popped, maintenance are aware and are bringing down 2 new fenders + socks
18/8 Cam angle sensor in port main has been replaced, no codes since
aft aircon has not been working since service crew worked on it, email has been sent to operations in regards to this.
