<p>Joined vessel 19/6/25</p> <p>* 20/6/25 genset 250 hr service @ 6803 hrs </p> <p>* lifebuoy light expires in July 2025, will order replacement on next stores order , received and replaced 27/6/25</p> <p>* 21/6/25 removed ladies toilet exhaust fan, too noisy, maintenance advised and waiting for replacement </p> <p>* 23/6/25 found 10 lts saltwater in port engine room at startup which has leaked in through strainer o ring on engine supply strainer with the valve closed overnight,o ring is perished , maintenance supplied new o ring that will be fitted after cleaning strainers next week, currently stowed around compass , 4/7/25 the o ring is still around the compass as it is a bit thinner than one currently in place and I have requested an o ring that is similar to be provided, however current seal is working ok for now </p> <p>* 27/6/25 first aid kit was serviced </p> <p>* 28/6/25 charts updated to NOTAM edition 13 , of note 6 x research buoys - scientific instruments deployed in western basin FLY4.5s without top mark, established for next 2 years , entered on chart plotter and paper charts </p> <p>* certificate register updated on dataweb </p> <p>* flagged email regarding client audit for Brahminy Kite onsite Tuesday 1/7/25 after 0830 scheduled run , was done with Mike Tiffany who is retiring and Wade Day who will be taking over from Mike Tiffany , all went well </p> <p>* 29/6/25 MRF submitted for broken zipper on Stbd engine hatch cushion for vinyl cover , MRF submitted for Stbd aft canopy curtain retainer press stud broken , temporarily secured , MRF submitted for port main engine exhaust lagging tape needs tidy up for aluminium tape, MRF submitted for replacement or servicing of port and Stbd main engine seacocks as they both leak slowly when the valve is closed </p> <p>* 3/7/25 Maintenance taped up port exhaust lagging and there is a noticeable burning smell after running at 2000rpm, it is just the glue and tape settling in so should be gone after a couple of days </p> <p>* The engine hatch cushions were removed for repair , no indication when they will be returned </p> <p>* The ladies exhaust fan was installed after removal and same noise was still evident , so once again removed and is with maintenance </p> <p>* sullage guage not accurate , so please adjust sullage records on log as freshwater guage drops accordingly and bunker fresh water same time as sullage discharged 👍</p> <p>* SRF submitted 7/7/25</p> <p>* see flagged email regarding Goodna received Saturday 5/7/25 to do 0830 scheduled run and timetable on wall to reflect change </p> <p>* no fuel booking for 8/7/25 made as yet </p> <p>* spent 14 days of swing on Brahminy Kite for 21 day swing , all seems normal enough , have fun ✌️ Cheers Nathan </p>
