New fan and extraction system under the dash. Still sucks air from wheelhouse but instead of going straight into the lithium battery box the cool air goes under the dash first, then into the lithium box and out the vent. Temperature in the under dash void is very cool now.
fwd springs at CP1 and marina berth are only 28mm (as per Willie's approval) I think they should be 32mm (only for the fixed fwd spring line) I haven't changed them out but just be aware they are lighter line than we normally have for our fwd springs.
same temperature issues in the air con void as before, monitor on hot days as we have been. They have taken some of the manifold off, it's better but not that much of a difference.
MRF in for extinguisher brackets in engine room. They are only held in by one pop rivet, very sketchy!
new ad blue pump is awesome, fills up super quick, still have to swing vessel around to do the other side. Leaks a little when you take the cam lock fitting off so just be ready with rags. Much better system.
new shore power outlet at Marina berth. Running both shore powers is not only protocol but works great, tried to get the breaker to flick off by running all aircons on 18 flat out and all fans.. breaker did not trip. It will be great when we have both at CP3. Also it's not as critical in the afternoons to try get shore power on when you can, putting shore power on when arriving back in the marina leaves night shift with heaps of battery %
main oil sample came back with copper in the oil so maintenance serviced the stbd main only. They are going to test again after 50 hours to see if it's an issue or not. Port service due at 1000 hours. Engines and jets haven't missed a beat though.
stores have been ordered 21/12
