Luke's comments from week one
23/3 Aces repair to anchor switch, installed a relay between power feed and switch
Inspected void below fresh water and diesel fillers, found to be very little amount of water/diesel in void. Found drainage hole was sikaflexed over preventing drainage via drain tap below deck, requested that we install a hose from drain cock to drum so any spills can be drained and collected and disposed of. Request was rejected by Luke Francis due to having to access the confined space of the anchor locker, is happy to the drain hole covered and either suck or scoop spills from save all
24/3 All main engine filters changed out, all sepa bowls have been dismantled and cleaned Stb Genset filter changed and bowl also cleaned but did not have enough diesel to commence cleaning of port side Genset filter, recommend this gets done when maintianence are available again next week
25/3 Vessels self audits by crew have been conducted, questions have been raised in regards to inadequate training of crew in the way of confined space training and gas testing. Red PFD out of date
Also the warning light to limp home comes and goes,Maintanance guys had a look all ok just need to keep a eye on the port volts as the alternator may be on the way out as the warning goes away when revs are up a little, Ryan only been on for the last week and everything seems to be running as normal
Check memo re Conico ERT induction training
New Certs for survey are in the pigeon whole for vessel if not on board ( email from Dave)
