-Email with the heading 'Goodna observations' is one I put together of issues I've found throughout my swing. This combined with Luke's email outlines, all that I can think of, that's wrong with the vessel.. I think between us we have covered it all but I'm sure there's a few more so make sure you let management know if you find anything so it can either be covered with warranty or fixed through an MRF. All the topics outlined are being looked at by management.
-Extraction fans not extracting air con void, getting very hot down the aft end of void, up to 78 degrees in parts.(see email showing videos) this is being addressed at the moment, speak to brody about progress on this. In the mean time keep an eye on temps.
-MOB. Saftey issue with lifting stainless grate currently being looked at by management.
-We are to berth port side to the pontoon in Spirits old spot now at sealink berth. This is the new Goodna berth.
-When mopping we have been using dishwashing detergent in the water to clean the floors as spring rain does not clean the floor. This has been working well.
-Pumping Ad Blu has been raised as saftey issue from Sean England. It takes around 500 pumps to fill 25% of the tank. Management are looking at introducing a different system for this.
-Rob has asked us to do a seperate log in the engineers log for the 48 volt alternators. We need this to be able to show when and what percentage battery they are kicking in at, and how many volts are being put in from each side when they kick in. on the servo, press screen and press menu, then look at ws500 port and stbd and write down the Amps showed when under way. We have found that the batteries have to be in the 30% range for the 48 volt alternators to start working, and then it's been different each time, some times port is higher or stbd is higher or one side works and the other side stays on 0. We need to keep this log going for another week or so then speak to Rob about the results.
-The solenoid for the anchor whinch has not yet been replaced so anchoring has not been advised (unless you have to of course) as the solenoid cuts in and out. If you do have problems, you can crawl into the front void, under wheelhouse, and tap the solonid to get it working again. (Solonoid is the black box with wires coming out of it in the fwd cabin under the wheelhouse, about 2 meters in slightly on port side up high)
-Using rain ex on the front window has been working great. As Luke mentioned, trimming helps, but still salt water splashing no matter the conditions. Rob mentioned they are looking at putting a bigger chine on the front to stop some of the splashing.
- We have been leaving the rubber boarding mat placed horizontally so it covers the stainless grate. When the grate is wet it is very slippery if you put your foot in the wrong spot. This works really well and the ramp goes on well too.
-I have left plates a bowl and cutlery on for everyone to use, there's also a serrated knife with a geeen handle that I've left in the white basket. It's awesome for cutting rope or if you just need a sharp knife.
- Atrium aircon filter was cleaned
- Port main engine oil dipstick has been moved down for easier access
-Defib has been hung in a box in the luggage rack
Have a great swing ✌️
Liam.
