Joined vessel 18/09/24
21/09/24 MRF’d jet control panel error code RPMFB, when you declutch you get this code come up,
22/09/24 MRF’d port main engine when cold takes approx 5 seconds of cranking before it will start.
Maintenance is trying to sort these issues, we are also going to run the vessel main crank batteries out of parallel to see if fault codes keep appearing as per Willie and Brody, All fault codes have been cleared as at 22/04/24 UPDATE- 27/09 - found the negative cable from house bank 1 rubbing against negative post of house bank 2 creating voltage spike and causing electrical issues ( photo in iPad for your reference), ctek battery charger fried and yet to be replaced so battery parallel is currently on in order for both batteries to charge from the victron charger. There has been no further alarms since this occurrence (LUKE)
Stbd main engine has been coming up with overspeed alarm on cold start up every morning. Maintenance are aware of this, 25/09/24, no overspeed alarm this morning will continue to monitor.
24/09/24 fault code “volt Orr j1” on jet controller panel, This is the first time this has appeared, will monitor. 4/10 - have not seen this fault code between 27/09 - 4/10
New fenders have been installed at SLB and repositioning as required. New fwd spring and stern second line SLB
24/09/24 please see flagged email regarding Gas sniffer service for the 11-12/09/24
Sullage gauge U/S please go from F/W gauge
Genset indicates 18v voltmeter reading indicates 14v faulty gauge
25/09/24 last day served on vessel
mrf 10040 and 10041 lodged - genset coolant leak and STB engine room oily water pooling each day, water leak seen on raw water pump flange and leak from silicon joints of pong box.(Luke)
01/10 new iPad supplied to the vessel as previous one was taken to the office with mail app connectivity issues. Good luck setting this up so it works for you as this is now locked and certain functions are no longer allowed - eg, screenshot (Luke) update another new iPad supplied to vessel 08/10/24 as the replacement iPad would not hold charge overnight the new iPad will still need some additional setting up and there are a lot of restrictions on it.
MSQ NTM 466(T) FLNE MAC ramp fender works - no wash required for work beetle/ polycraft (Luke)
stb side main engine - exhaust bellows (silicon joint) is leaking under load and producing salt water build up in stb eng bilge, requiring daily vaccumm. The vacuum requires replacement as it is on its way out, motor sounds laboured and there doesn't seem to be any vacuum bags onboard.
Found a genset exhaust manifold leak, Brodie is ordering a new manifold and plans to have it replaced when boat is stood down so I am leaving soaker pads in place till work is done.
06/10/24 Annual maintenance completed throughout the duration of the swing.
06/10/24 Raw water leak port main engine. Noticed salt build up on outboard side aft engine mount did try nip up hose clamps to see if this stops it. Have not put an MRF in for this yet please monitor. There is quite a bit of vibration if you run the engines over 1850, have tried back flushing to no avail, not an issue now but with growth will need more rpm.
08/10/24 250-500 hour main engines serviced
have a good swing
