Joined vessel 28/8/24
* tagged out u/s extension lead in stores cupboard sent ashore and new one provided to vessel
* MSDS sheets added to hard copy folder
* Fire service report has non critical defects in regard to fixed fire system warning signs not clearly visible , have sent email requesting what needs to be changed, MRF # 9971 was submitted as requested by W.Ewins but was rejected
* The port void 4 still contained the redundant FM200 cylinder with piping and contents in cylinder and was removed from vessel 2/9/24
* Email sent enquiring that the safety and evacuation plan states that the genset has A30 structural fire protection and I believe W.Ewins is changing plans x 6 which should also state that the fixed system is novec1230 rather than fm200
* The DVD player was not reading Disc and was replaced again with a new DVD player 3/9/24
* 3/9/24 antenna from roof fell off , all radios , ais still working, as the week progressed MRF 9997 submitted as follows
"Antenna come adrift off roof stbd side and it is likely the stbd vhf radio antenna, as other sealink vessels can not hear our transmission when only 3 miles away and VTS has reported on occasions transmissions are broken , also the port vhf has other vessels unable to hear our transmission and VTS states very quiet transmission with port vhf set, both tests were done using 25 watts over several days, if diagnosing fault please try and call another vessel as VTS can sometimes get an audible transmission "
* 3/9/24 the stbd wheelhouse quarter glass window fwd of the hinging window come adrift whilst underway, maintenance have completed temporary fix I believe..... 15/9/24 maintenance finished off securing window
* commencing 3/9/24 and occurring daily since , the port main has been giving off low voltage alarm + coolant level low + coolant level signal loss , analogue guages stating check engine and also stop engine. The coolant level is ok and MRF # 9977 submitted requesting coolant sensor replacement I would assume ......... 16/9/24 Fault has not occurred since all batteries in vessel replaced
* 5/9/24 I have changed the labelling in the bilge manifold to reflect the correct voids that each pipe is connected to as per bilge alarm panel and stability booklet
* see previous handover notes from G Wilson regarding fuel and sullage guages , still the same
* The Goodna has Brahminy Kite defibrillator onboard , when the Brahminy Kite comes online as 2nd APLNG support vessel the defibrillator on Goodna is to be returned to Brahminy Kite.... The Canaipa defibrillator is then to be handed over to Goodna
* 9/9/24 port main had analogue guages go into a diagnostic mode ? as we were heading out of marina for pm runs , throttles and gears still worked ok, shutdown and restarted and come good , video in iPad sent to Brody via email

* 17/9/24 Defibrillator removed from vessel as above notes 5/9/24
The freshwater guauge reads 60% however if you spin off the cap of the freshwater tank it will visually look about 85% the sullage guage reads empty is u/s , so I would believe sullage at 15%
Ipad charger labelled #42 in electrical test and tag book, has been taken to Brahminy Kite as there was no charger onboard BK,, , please note that canaipa still has an ipad charger onboard
