<p>Hi Ale,</p> <p>We had a very eventful swing.</p> <ul> <li>both gensets have been playing up. STBD side alternator has been replaced and a new ecm fitted. Port side has been looked at and new looming and connections however after they did this I have still had shutdowns from it. STBD side has run fine on tues and this morning.</li> <li>soft hatch for STBD side engine room is only on temporary no sikaflex etc until they can confirm after a few days that STBD side genset has no problems, we have to keep that whole area dry.</li> <li>Port inboard bearing casing is weeping a mixture of bearing oil and raw water. Luke and management are aware but requires slipping to be fixed. They have stressed that the engineers check this regularly and top up with oil if needed. Oil onboard</li> <li>we has a fuel spill on wharf other day and used all soaker equipment from surfer spill kit, we have malau trader old spill kit until Nathan supplies with new ones</li> <li>All Rfd's have been serviced still waiting for the last 130man canister to be swapped back, we still have the spare. No certificates have been supplied yet. We only received the hydrostatic release certificate and I put that with the Rfd ones in SMS .</li> <li>new gps unit is going to be fitted, not sure when. I have asked Luke and Richard each week with no luck finding out. They are waiting on the marine electrician to fit it.</li> <li>Spoke with Jake on Tuesday he said the sky rail and dorsal anchor points will be inspected next Friday.</li> <li>avo system still waiting to be fixed</li> <li>email regarding gl4 run and new break times.</li> <li>not much toilet roll onboard as we had our box that was delivered pinched, I have put another order in for this week.</li> <li>engines have been fine, port aft back up throttle control dial works intermittently. </li> <li>No new chart corrections</li> <li>we have new freshwater filter fitted but unsure if that's the one you told me about.</li> <li>electrical survey was done on the day of our swap, waiting for certificate.</li> <li>pest spray was done on vessel 31st March.</li> </ul> <p>I have been made redundant so you will most likely be swapping with Des next time.
