-playing with tender configuration
-anchor dragged 3 times on set at south end, needs more chain then theoretical anchor drop.
Anchor not so good.
-adjusted ship tie up to suit Shute dock.
-put Nancy set lines all over her side.
-found neater better place for back deck tie off.
-need more white synthetic line for tender stern line, clips don’t work have been bending straight away need to splice loop eyes and use cleats like normal rather then clips metal on metal.
-strb water tank was run dry by guests leaving toilet tap running. Used crossover valve and tested back up water pumps all works really well, in case of tank drainage, there is a safety mechanism on the pumps to stop them running dry which is nice, incase of tank running dry still worth turning corresponding pump off incase and just use the pump attached to the tank being used if need to crossover occurs.
Can also simply open crossover valves in both port and strb to get going again.
-UV screen/protector mounted in Wheelhouse.
-loops aren’t working as smooth as desired on stern bollards- need to make short lines with eye splice and whip lengths needed for tender deploy and retrieval.
-port genset shut down underway from tongue to whitehaven.
Fuel solenoid not staying in position, engine protect relay looks burned out so could have a fault or maybe the relay burned out is the fault, the solenoid relay could also be the problem, changed over to strb genset for rest of the day, MRF submitted. Pics sent to Isaiah and bill is coming done 10/07 pm on vessel return to replace relay and inspect issues. Bill has ordered a whole new rack for port fender solenoid injector system etc no new relay there was none in town so unfortunately just one generator running no redundant power supply for all systems.
-MRF pooling water - bathrooms and exterior seating.
-MRF wire lanyards holding davit securing pins and anchor devils claw.
-MRF bow gate hitting whites/needs chafe protector.
-MRF anchor well latch locks, plastic keyway failed.
-MRF port genset shutting itself down, had to run strb despite oil leak.
