26/06/24 Port quarter wheelhouse window sikaflex had let go on a majority of the window. Noticed on the am run when cleaning window there was very little adhesion to the frame and MRFd as a matter of urgency. Maintenance came down on break to complete a temporary fix to hold window in place until repairs could made to refit window in place. 29/06/24 maintenance re sikaflexed window in place.

27/06/24 Genset had cut out on AM runs due to light rain, water had been getting in through genset cabinet and making its way into the electrical board causing it to shut down , have requested maintenance to install weather tight seals around cabinet doors to stop water entering electrical component's. 03/07/24 new seals installed and genets has been ok since.
03/07/24 AC units serviced by cool summers contractors. Noticed Stbd fwd AC unit fan seems to be rubbing on shroud, Gene has been notified and cool summers are coming back to repair unit asap, update 15/07/24 parts have been ordered for repairs and Gene has informed me it should be completed by week ending 22/07/24. Cool summers has informed us AC unit can be run but try to avoid using fan on high. With the cooler conditions we been able to leave that AC off and cabin still seems to be a comfortable temp.

We were assisgned to train Dustin Cook from 26/07/24-28/07/24, he completed 2 days training but was required on another vessel for his 3rd day of training, and has not been signed off by Willie to date. All of his drills have been completed and his vessel knowledge worksheet and he has completed his training and assessment workbook, I have signed off all of his documentation and he seems to have a sound knowledge of the vessel and working procedures, and been through the SMS, He seems competent with all aspects required for the GPH role on this vessel. He could do with the day to refresh what he has learnt prior to his assessment. Emma has been trying to get back on here before the end of our swing but crewing requirements didn't allow it, I'm assuming she will try to complete his 3rd day asap and have him signed off. His paperwork is attached to the vessel timetable port wheelhouse. Have a great swing 16/07/24
