Diesel found in Anchor void unde fuel bund due to drain hole in Diesel and Water filler bunding, hole sealed up and when 2 ticked confined space crew are onboard, diesel to be removed.
1/2 ltr Biocide added to each Diesel tank this swing All main engine Separ filters changed 4393 hours 10/03/16. Bottom section of Separ filters not removed and cleaned
15/03/16 Electrical Survey completed by Marine to Industrial from Brisbane , new UPS installed, new batteries installed in all 3 emergency Cabin Lights. New battery installed Emergency Exit light. Broody load tested Emergency Radio Battery bank. All good. New fan installed Battery Box. ( runs very quiet and doesn't push a great deal of air)
Port Engine surged at low revs 3 times in 2 days reading " low oil pressure alarm" one time and "throttle sensor error " once but no problems since then
New end cap replaced Stb Main Engine heat exchanger , 4 Annodes 2 bolts from inside Annodes and snapped off thread found inside. N.B. Brody suggested the Annodes need to be tightened more before installation with pliers and spanner as he noticed on inspection quite a few are unscrewing with engine vibration .

Stb Engine Room Foam fire extinguisher found to be out of date, inspected and stamped accordingly
New CCTV mouse swapped to wireless New revised AUS 246 chart on board

SMS CHANGES. Section 4 page 8 replaced with new addendum--"it is strictly prohibited to use off-shore installations as way points". STILL to be modified Section 6 page 7 ---- photo of main raw water discharge is infact a photo of Genset raw water discharge.

between all crew can we start evaluating what chemicals we really need onboard, for example on this swing we use metho on interior glass for cleaning and don't require any glass cleaner, if between us we can record what we all prefer to use perhaps we can elliminate sone of the unnecessary extra chemicals from the boat.
I have ordered 2 A5 fenders and covers to suite, these are what I wish to use onboard, if all masters like them maybe we can consider removing the smaller ones from the vessel, if you do not wish to use the new ones do not take them off the boat or give them away, they have been ordered as a result of a lack of cushioning from the smaller fenders whilst docked at cp1 and cp3 during medivacs in rougher conditions, this is an identified safety risk, no person has authorisation to cancel the order or to reject the order when it arrives, if you don't wish to use them they can be stored either on or off the vessel as long as they are back on board for the beginning of our next swing.
