-inspect all vessel battery terminals connections are tight, boxes free of moisture and all breathing, batteries secured.
-new data web cleaning and maintenance lists created.
-we have mow got, spare lines onboard and to stay onboard, 2x strb mid ship door 1x in bow locker, 1 x in port side engine room hooks.
Eyes spliced ready to utilise in emergency docking at Hayman or at Hamilton etc just incase we need to stop in one day unplanned.
-Port main engine running fine mow after fuel filter change and air filter clean outs.
-jade will hopefully print out some of the weekly, monthly cleaning lists to go with the maintenance lists, we will need to reassess what’s on both lists in time.
-Reiterate number on ship log for each crew to match which radio they use, It’s also good for when emergency strikes and everyone forgets their role which is exactly what happened the other week, had a flock of crew moving together as one unit rather then assuming their actual roles. Having the radios on the hip with their number!! Is an easy way for them to remember what those roles are in emergency if they forget their number for the day it’s written on the radio they can just look down amd know what number and therefore the roles and responsibilities they have for each emergency… enforce it with the new skipper, make crew come up and signs individually each day when they collect radios sign log etc.
-drained out all fresh water from main fresh water tank and flushed as tank tastes very contaminated, lots of complaints from guests as well as all crew developing head aches in the day….needs to be added to monthly cleaning list.
-I grabbed the fenders from airport shed, I dropped them off to boat this one, you are ready to go in the am, tender ramp off, all gear and both ramps onboard for cruise ship tie up, Sister ship to quantum of the seas, shell port tie. I’ve found in store and left a tiger line outside upper saloon as boat was already locked it’s just on the deck to pull into wheelhouse as to create another bow line for overnight secure vessel tie.
see you at 10am
