-received socket seal box for cable connection on wet-vac, in wheel house until we bring wet vac back onboard.
-freezer in store room stocked and milk stocked also.
-meeting about uniforms, drinks, time start and finish etc 25/03
-port side engine room cleaned partially, bilges and mats still need thorough clean out, machinery functioning as normal all gauge levels as normal with no more incidents occurring.
-strb steering valve is now labelled.
-discussed the entire situation with all crew over the last days, crew not to swing any valves moving forward with out instruction and confirmation after action and a check from one of the masters with anything detrimental and no crew to swing any valves in engine room moving forward.
-make sure to use new radio numbering system, crew must have the right number radio to coincide with watch bill/ships log roles in emergency. Crew need to start reading those roles daily and I also think we need to start putting people on same roles because I’m recent incidents no one stuck to their actual roles it needs to be dealt reiterated clearly and the radio process helps this along with keeps everyone accountable able and acting more careful with their radios.
No milk or ice needed !!! Yay haha
See you in the am.
