-safety rail on strb aft pod has been damaged on a cruise ship day, on arrival to vessel 03/12 after days off noticed it was bent and snapped at base of rail. Gary has organised a welder to come wed 6th.
-door stop on portside sea gate noticed snapped off on arrival to vessel 06/12.
-complete cleaning and maintenance lists (dataweb) created new lists.
-clean hatch seal on aft deck compartment 4 entrances pt and st, cleared hatch trim drains
Notified crew of importance of the hatches being locked to prevent water ingress.
-run all fire fight equipment.
-master induction Jason James.
-clean off all Grease stains from engine room doors, toilet doors, fire locker doors.
-test all bilge pumps and float switches, alarms in each compartment including 24v bilge pumps in eng rooms.
-replace batteries in torches in abandon ship box.
-cleaned out storage areas- fire locker and decoy cleaning cupboard mid deck.
-picked up new squeegees and telescopic poles and sponges for poles for wash downs.
-MRF made for sea gate door stop, and st aft rail.

*coolant leak still present from 2nd cylinder from aft on top of strb main engine
*port main eng coolant leak still present on frd strb engine mount coming from bottom of header tank.
Left the cyclone shackles in wheelhouse we need to clean them up, get lock pins to work again. then store them elsewhere so they don’t deteriorate, compartment no.1 storage would be better.
Also we are cleaning due to possible cyclone prep in the coming week or 2 we may need to use them.
