25/1 Wheelhouse Aircon failed, contractor found that a sensor located in the from of the unit has slight moisture which had caused a short in the board. Sensor was removed tested cleaned and dried once replaced the flashing red and five flashing orange error signals were eliminated and unit begun to cool.
Recieved email from Dave in regards to scheduled maintenance and flagged it. Basically from now on maint will be done fortnightly on Sunday. BK will do the 05:30 and then go straight up the Inlet to the Maintenance Facility, arrive by 06:15 approx..
Sunset will now do the 12:15 off the Island and then return. Surfer will start earlier, 10:45 and do the 12:30 to the Island. BK will return to the 17:00 run.
28/1 Stb turbo compressor has spun, oil ring failed and causing alarm to sound Had new compressor housing fitted which is now welded at the 90deg bend so to avoid this happening again.
31/1 Genset serviced Replaced Tpiece that was leaking onto the shaft cover on port side Realigned compressor housing on stb turbo Replaced 4 anodes on the lids of all strainer boxs Changed jet bearing oils Removed and replaced dump pipe extension on stb side
5/2 Changed out UPS as old one was dropping out as soon as Genset was shut off Chart corrections have not been updated as the office is missing the correction gear
Genset has been shutting down on hot days, suspect due to all air cons kicking in at the same time loading up Genset, have been setting temps in main cabin to different degrees so the compressors are kicking in at different intervals, have not had stupid hot days since trailing this so unsure if this is working, but air cons and Genset have not been failing since
No red led in anchor light switch. Hydrostatic release for karly floats are due for replacement February, MRF has been lodged.
Engine rooms need a fresh water rinse on maintenance day build up of salt water has salt crust on just about everything down there...
Have ordered a new vacuum as the old one just ain't sucking quiet like it used too
