* 27/9/23 Port fire alarm faulting frequently whilst underway, maintenance advised they are sourcing new panel for the wheelhouse
* 28/3/23 ConocoPhillips hazard card submitted for electrical cable for lighting hanging down at CP1 pontoon
* Breast cancer awareness posters around vessel for the month of October, hats can be collected from reception at office
* 29/9/23 Fire alarm port engine room faulting so often, it has been isolated during operations more often than not, and is not able to be reset at times and when it has been reset it usually sounds off straight away, sometimes it can be working as designed? The 11/12 th October has not seen the fire alarm fault
* 1/10/23 Port funnel had panels removed and cracks in deck brackets have been welded, stbd exhaust had brackets in funnel repaired also, junction box for steering control in port void 6 has been replaced , insulation in exhaust funnels tidied up and old lagging scraps removed , removed salt crust from bilge manifold, port engine room fan blades cleaned due to exhaust lagging fibres accumulation
* 2/10/23 charts corrected to ntm 856
* 3/10/23 Rate reduction timetable in place, through until 12/10/23 0410hrs start, finish 1910hrs
* 5/10/23 MRF submitted # 9051 for gearbox pressure analogue guages giving different readings, it has been so for quite sometime however the port gearbox is reading lower than it was throughout the year , see sent emails to Gladstone maintenance 4/10/23 ,,,,, 6/10/23 maintenance replaced sender on port gearbox and guage now reading correctly and oil leak from sender also not apparent anymore
* 6/10/23 Stbd Simrad monitor replaced with new EVO 3 model the same as the port unit and I have replaced the chart plotter card back in the stbd unit where it used to be located prior to the stbd unit failing. The chart is now back where it used to be on the stbd nav panel and port nav panel used for radar. The echo sounder is now functioning on the stbd panel with depth only relayed to port radar screen side panel
* 6/10/23 The northern and western most yellow buoys in Targinie swing basin TSB5 + TSB7 have been moved back in position after dredging completed by dredge Brisbane
* 9/10/23 The genset failed to startup due to shutting down on oil pressure sensor fault, maintenance replaced sender after am runs and genset back in action
* 9/10/23 MRF # 9068 submitted for anchor winch as it showing signs that solenoid is failing ? as the winch struggles to raise or lower the anchor and at times the current is being drawn to winch and winch is non responsive at times, 12/10/23 maintenance inspected fault and further investigations required to resolve fault which is apparent, 15/10/12 fitters attempted diagnosing anchor fault, test run after slipping and anchor winch is u/s. Circuit breaker in engine room switched off and caution / information tags placed at controls of anchor winch in wheelhouse. "The anchor can deployed in an emergency no problems at all at anytime"
* 9/10/23 The stbd rudder indicator on the departure of 0700 run was not showing any movements, the rudder was inspected and was operating on command whilst manoeuvring and eventually come good prior to berthing at CP3, however the rudder was indicting 4-5 degrees to port when the rudder was at midships, spoke with maintenance, continuing to monitor
* 10/10/23 MRF # 9069 + 9071 submitted for water entering the port engine room when light rain /drizzle through the funnel area where the bucket is located in the port engine room, and also for water entering main cabin through roof panel port side just aft of the luggage rack
* 11/10/23 maintenance started removing rust from genset housing as per surveyors request, probably will fabricate the old aluminium housing to suit genset 👌
* Cool Summers are booked to service A/C units on 30/10/23 + 31/10/23 1000 - 1400 hrs reminder in calendar
* CCTV is 36 hrs behind real time, no authorisation to change , will have to get the fitters to change it sometime when they are around on the dock
* 13/10/23 vessel was slipped after pm operations, grid coolers were cleaned of oysters and barnacles, hull cleaned and 2 coats of Antifoul applied, rudders and propellers were treated with prop speed application , anodes changed out as required , strainer repairs conducted where the shaft seal is plumbed into the side of the fire pump strainers, 15/10/23 vessel sea trialled after slipping , fire pumps run, strainers cleaned with no leaks evident, washed down and ready for service am operations 16/10/23
