MRF 2184 in place for new Carley float and lifering lettering
MRF 2196 in place Port Nav light wiring bad conection. New bulb fitted. MRF completed.
MRF 2198 in place Port main engine mounts are loose, stern gland leaking water. Upon closer inspection all engine mounts were broken and engine had moved 100mm forward.
Vessel on slip Thursday 11/2/16 @1110hrs. Engine mounts replaced with genuine Cummins mounts. Main engines raw water intake valves replaced. Barnacle buster flushed through both main engines.
Vessel antifouled, and back in water Friday 12/2/16 @ 1230hrs. Engine alignment done. Sea trials at 1730hrs, port main engine vibrating badly from 1300rpm to 1500rpm.
Port main engine mounts replaced again with harder compound mounts. Sea trials on Wednesday, vibrations at 1300 to 1500rpm gone, still has some slight vibrations at higher revs, may be the flex coupling. Maintainence say to allow a couple of days to bed in, new coupling is on order. MRF completed.
Genset and both mains serviced 18.2.16 anodes all checked and replaced as necessary (Brody ). Stbd mains raw water pump impellor and face plate renewed.
New AIS aerial has been fitted, test all good.
Refueling at night is allowed for all vessels under 15m (refer emails).
Marine Surveyor onboard Monday 1125hrs checking engine mounts etc.
Christopher B booked in at 0900hrs for slipping, out of water survey.
