*incident - whilst loading tender at tongue bay a lady has gone to help her daughter and tripped on a rock and gashed her knee also stubbed her toe on a rock. First aid given and incident form completed.
Risk assessment results.
*Need to be clear about instructing one person at a time on approach to the tender ramp, one person on ramp at a time but! It’s also up to the tender driver to get the tender as close as possible to minimise the risk of guest walking on sharp and slippery rocks at tongue bay.
And also use the left side sand bar at the main loading area to avoid unnecessary rocks (commonsense, go where it’s best on the day). The right hand side of that beach is not where the tender should be loading now the medium amd lower ranges of the tides, it’s a small boat and can squeeze in to the left in all occasions if the tender driver can’t do that they shouldn’t be driving the tender.
