<p>29/1 New air filter fitted to Port main engine. </p> <p>Richard fitted Digital Video Recorder for the CCTV cameras. Good picture now. New Remote control not set up for new recorder but mouse is functioning fine. Basic manual and CD ROM for new recorder placed in plastic box for manuals on floor of port aft wheel house. </p> <p>Three (3) new red rocket flares replaced to grab bag container. New expiry date is December 2018.</p> <p>New Certificate of Insurance document placed in section 11 of the SMS.</p> <p>Gas detector finally returned onboard after being off the vessel for over 3 months. Reportedly sent off for service (& calibration) late. New O2 sensor fitted. Next Calibration due on 3rd June 2016. New & current Certificate of Inspection placed in Section 11 of the SMS.</p> <p>30/1 Port rubbing strake cleaned with drifter.</p> <p>MRF 2155 Stbd TV monitor showing signs of wear/damage. Fault appears to be intermittent. New TV monitor will eventually be needed.</p> <p>MRF 2156 port tube protector around jet unit is cracked at join. See photos. Could not attach photo to MRF. </p> <p>31/1 Noticed the forward air con unit in the main cabin could be faulty. Air con does not stay on, starts & stops. </p> <p>1/2 Stbd main engine compartment fire alarm keeps going off even after engine is allowed to cool down below 74 degrees. MRF 2163 submitted. </p> <p>An an air con mechanic came on board with Shaun to check out the problem with the forward cabin air con on the roof. They seem to think that the unit is running hot because of the hot weather & not enough ventilation. They will approach Dave to ask if they can fit a fan to cool the unit on the roof. </p> <p>A new battery (Lithium Cell CR2025 3V) for the DVD remote was ordered. </p> <p>Dave has contacted Coats Hire to fit a new door knob to the donga at GL4. Night shift to contact Dave once it is done.</p> <p>2/2 Email from Dave and Craig Batchelor (Transport) at GLNG. Brendan Manley replaces Jason Sayers as the new Night Shift Manager at GLNG.</p> <p>New Fixed Fire Smothering System Certificate placed in section 11 of the SMS.</p> <p>Hyrdrostatic release units changed on the Carly Floats. New expiry date is January 2018. An extra 2 HRU's came to the vessel. Have taken them with me to take up to the office on 3/2.</p> <p>Called Richard again re: forward air con unit.</p> <p>Email received from Luke Francis re: cleaning port hull by divers. He is in Brisbane on Dancer but said he will organise something this week.</p> <p>Scheduled maintenance days for Torresian are every 2nd Sunday starting on the 7th of February.</p>
