Hello Rapha,
There has been a mix of Masters over the swing so I'll do my best to summarise the past 3 weeks;
3 monthly checks 03/08
Monthly checks 11/08
Forward spring at CP3 inside replaced
Engines degreased and soaker pads replaced
Starboard bilge/fire clutch pump had a lot of salt residue around and above it, couldn't see any leaks during weekly test running so must be a very small/fine spray? I've cleaned it up so might be easier to see where it is coming from.
MRFs submitted/completed;
8904 01/08 Fire alarms - no lights and alarms in engine rooms and faults coming up on panel in wheelhouse. ESA attended and could not find any issues. Lights and alarms are working again however faults are still coming up in wheelhouse, currently monitoring situation, see emails to Willie and Gene 02/08. MRF closed
8905 stb bilge pump switch in wheelhouse replaced all OK and MRF closed
8929 (D MacFarlane 08/08) Air con cover mid forward fell off (completed)
8930 (D MacFarlane 08/08) Fuel gauges not reading correctly
8944 14/08 steering was very slow and would no turn anymore than 20 degrees to port or starboard during Prestarts and for the run down to APLNG in the morning. This was with both primary and emergency pumps. Came good after about and hour of running. Brody is aware and we will continue to monitor.
Ongoing issues;
Port main still using more fuel and higher load numbers
1 x SIMRAD still not working so no depth sounder
sullage gauge not working (actually goes up after pumping sullage)
port rudder indicator not working
Emails;
New chart corrections procedure and chart corrections folder onboard. Lastest NTMs corrections completed 05/08.
NOTAMs folder, see email from Willie 11/08
Bridge closed on Sat 20/08
I think that's all, have a great swing any issues give me a call.
