<p>Joined vessel 14/06/23.</p> <ul> <li>Starboard main engine alarm - check engine/ shutdown engine on startup 14/06, shutdown batteries off - restart all faults cleared. unsure of cause. <br /> </li> <li>starboard Simrad unit is still not operational ( I have managed to power it on twice this swing, with once it freezing) Brodie mentioned that they have no stock - Luke tickner has placed a MRF for this prior to me swinging on.<br /> </li> <li>New APLNG operational reporting contact list onboard and displayed in wheelhouse. <br /> </li> <li>New severe weather contingency plan onboard in cabinet, old one removed to office. This has a sealink specific vessel plan inserted in the back. </li> <li>First aid kit was serviced 20/06, due September.</li> <li>Chart correction - jacobs channel tracing - 2023/471 completed 26/06</li> <li>section 4 in SMS has been replaced with updated including a new statement (S4/P11) & electronic chart update register (located in front of sms following crew sign off). 26/06</li> <li>ESR 28/06 - 1 x Smoke flare (due 07/23), as the red handheld was expiring 09/23 I had ordered a whole new set - new flares onboard 29/06 2x red 1 x smoke 2026 expiry, old flares have been returned to the office.</li> <li>6 monthly checks were due 05/07 - these were completed & submitted 28/06 to avoid having multiple checks due on your first few days. Monthly's will be due 05/07, however I have left these as I thought you will complete the vessel audit at some point and they go hand in hand.</li> <li>24/6 maintenance completed 500hr service on mains</li> <li>28/06 one crew pfd has been taken to the office for servicing due 07/23 - I suspect this will be replaced/ swapped out as it does not have a harness / leg strap on it. </li> <li>28/6 maintenance onboard to complete void inspections and PMs</li> <li>03/07 maintenance on board to complete test tag </li> </ul> <p>MRF's in Place this swing -</p> <p>#8798 - small leak in wheelhouse windows port tide - covered in blue tac - this has been like this for a longtime, since we tick that all windows & Frames on weekly checks I have submitted this MRF. <br /> #8799 - E-Stop for generator located in wheelhouse - will only work if generator is set to Auto & has a 30sec-1Min timer. E-Stop on generator is instant. - Rejected</p> <p>#8816 - port main engine load & fuel has slowly been increasing this swing, it is now fairly consistent at 81%-85% - 1740-1750rpm. </p>
