Filling in for last 2 days of swing 12/6/23 and 13/6/23
* charts corrected to NTM 2023 / 471 Jacobs channel 0m contour , emails sent as requested regarding block inserts for charts have been done in 2021 + 2022, see email flagged 9/6/23
* port Nav screen was u/s and we were using Stbd screen for plotter and radar switching between the two for am runs 12/6/23 , maintenance attended and attached cable to time zero and getting new hdmi cable that is suspect but is back working again for pm operations
* contractors from ultimate marine power onboard 1710 - 1900 hrs 12th + 0830 - 1100 hrs 13th June wiring up vessel telemetry systems for navigation and engines
* sanitary bins changed out 13/6/23 and stores req. submitted
* In the 2 days I have been onboard the port Nav screen has become u/s due to cable connection under the dash for Nav screen input, I have taken a photo of the connection that is the culprit and is stored in the photo gallery on this iPad and reconnecting this cable will bring back the 2 Nav screens with plotter on port screen and radar on stbd screen 👍
Contractors and maintenance have been working under there recently, I believe a small bump of the cable makes for bad connection, Brodie is aware of this as the connection is dicky
* 13/6/23 PM departure from the marina prior to departure from marina Stbd fwd main throttle was not responding to command from main controls , inspect and wriggle relays with no joy, operated the Stbd fwd main on emergency dial from CCF to QC4 to maintain 2000 rpm on fwd main and keep cruise speed to arrive for the 1510 scheduled run and upon arrival at QC4 we shutdown and reset battery supply and restart and all tested OK and continued to do so for rest of pm running , Brodie will attend vessel on 14/6/23 and change out relays I believe
