Header tank vent hose into reservoir replaced and fitting cleared as ot was very blocked and not able to expand into reservoir. Still does not expand into reservoir, which says the hole in the nest is getting worse and we are definitely loosing coolant into the raw water lines now. 200ml roughly each day required to keep header tank full.

<p>12/04/23</p> <p> </p> <p>-Found a blocked vent hose/coolant line on strb main engine, between the header tank and reservoir for coolant which isnt allowing for expansion and causing coolant to come out of the header tank cap and would explain why we have been loosing 100-200ml coolant roughly each day due to it releasing out of the header tank cap into the bilges rather then expanding into the reservoir/expansion tank while hot and returning into the header tank once cold again.</p> <p>Cleared old line and all fittings to reservoir and header tank.</p> <p> </p> <p>-Ordered replacement 7.9mm coolant line for header tank and reservoir, topped up 200ml coolant strb main eng.</p> <p> </p> <p>-MRF submitted for blocked vent hose/expansion line from header tank to reservoir/expansion tank. </p> <p> </p> <p>Jobs list for Friday layday 14/04/23</p> <p>Cleaning required </p> <p>-stains on floor- upper saloon- port frd row, port 3rd and 2nd row from front, strb 4th row from front, port aft row in corner.</p> <p>-Top sides (blue) every level wash and wax </p> <p>-Clean out lazerette aft strb </p> <p>-Clean deck head aft lower deck + mid level deck head remove all stains from all whites on roof amd around cleaning cupboard, polish windows to remove water stains. </p> <p>-deck wash and thoroughly clean 3rd level deck, whites and scuppers. Mid deck also. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Maintence required </p> <p>-sullage transfer pump replacement</p> <p>-remove rust from crane mount bolts and cover, remove grease over flow. </p> <p>-attach yellow door strip at saloon entrance. </p> <p>-glue down grey rubber flooring at entrance to saloon. </p> <p>-buff saloon strb and Frd windows, rainex (only if completely free of stains) </p> <p>-remove mould off back deck </p> <p>-lock mid ships port side door needs to be made smoother. </p> <p>-double braided rope for bridle </p> <p>-re run vent hose for header tank + reservoir </p> <p>-lube all valves onboard. </p> <p>-re run iPad for gps display under bridge.<br /> </p> <p>sorry it's so late I was sick as a dog yesterday and accidentally fell asleep untill right now!! Sorry mate. <br /> </p> <p>have a lovely couple days, hope I right for Sunday I'll call Gary tomorrow and see how I'm feeling I may need Sunday off as I've deteriorated a lot all blocked up amd in bed. </p>
