<p>03/04/23</p> <p>-Completed monthly/fortnightly/weekly cleaning and maintenance lists.</p> <p> </p> <p>-inspect outboard motor</p> <p>Re-Shaped prop guard back to normal, tried to balance prop more-removing filings and dents from damaged caused by prop guard being bent into it,</p> <p>Replaced bushes, re-secured.</p> <p> </p> <p>-polished the port side windows again to finish them off and removed 50% of frd windows calcium. </p> <p> </p> <p>-Test run all vessel alarms and machinery alarms.</p> <p> </p> <p>-hull scrubbed again. </p> <p> </p> <p>-cleaned out fire locker/made neat.</p> <p> </p> <p>-removed all overspray from crane base.</p> <p> </p> <p>-removed exhaust and over spray from crane leaking into aft section of tunnel/hull.</p> <p> </p> <p>-completed a lot of Kimba and Bonnie task books.</p> <p> </p> <p>(Instructed by Gene Mitchell) </p> <p>-submitted near miss for premature anchor drop at tongue bay. </p> <p>(Crew need to wait for a clear ok sign to deploy anchor/masters need to utilise same universal signals to avoid confusion) </p> <p>Simple “ok” sign, </p> <p>with either hand/arm on head/verbal. </p> <p>Anchor is not to be dropped unless one of the “ok” signs is displayed. </p> <p> </p> <p>(Instructed by Gene Mitchell) </p> <p>-submitted incident report for tender motor prop and guard. </p> <p>(Incident occurred at whitehaven beach on Saturday 1st April, determined via cctv footage showing prop guard in-tact during deployment from cradle but returning crushed upon returning to cradle) </p> <p> </p> <p>-wet vac and cleaned out lazerettes (comp 4) </p> <p> </p> <p>Topped up 100ml coolant on day one, but no levels have changed in the 4 days. </p> <p> </p> <p>-tidied up crane base and over spray.</p> <p> </p> <p>-attempted to remove exhaust from stern ends of both tunnels, most is gone after 2 goes at it but was very thick, needs another go still. </p> <p> </p> <p>-need to reiterate to crew not to let go of anchor or any other loaded lines unless the official “ok” sign has been given by master.</p>
