<p>See email RE: OVID Audit 15th April</p> <p>In water survey completed 4/4</p> <p>ESA completed test and tag of fire equipment 6/4</p> <p>New spring lines at Marina, GL3 and QC4. Please note we have set the stern line at QC4 for use on the aft of the 2 cleats at the stern gate. This is to avoid any crush injuries as the fwd stern cleat sits flush with the pontoon fender.<br /> <br /> See emails from Willie regarding water in sanitary bins, scrub down notification, PFD,s and loadmaster ad hoc run authorisation.</p> <p>New Sullage gauge installed and working well.</p> <p>See following incident report regarding new fuel gauge; MRF 8556</p> <p><strong>Following Incident Report Submitted</strong></p> <p><strong>Situation</strong>:</p> <p>(Starboard side bunkering)</p> <ul> <li>Master (S Austin) was on the nozzle and Deckhand (D Bellini) was watching the gauge</li> <li>Bunker plan was to fill to 90% (1800 litres)</li> <li>Comms plan was to slow down at 1700litres</li> <li>When reaching 1700 litres Deckhand made the call and Master slowed the fuel rate</li> <li>At 1800 litres Deckhand called to stop which I did</li> <li>At the same time the breather pipe began to gurgle and spit out some fuel</li> <li>When removing the nozzle it was observed that the fuel was to the top of the filler pipe which caused the fuel left between the valve on nozzle and the cam lock to spill into the save all (approx 1/2 litre)</li> <li>This fuel was collected by soaker pads, placed in doubled up garbage bags and deposited in the maintenance trolley.</li> <li>No other fuel escaped or spilt outside the save all</li> <li>When returning to the wheelhouse to complete the paperwork the gauge was reading 1880 litres </li> </ul> <p><strong>Issue:</strong></p> <p>There seems to be a delay from the fuel sender unit in the tank and the gauge. This is OK just needs to be communicated and factored into the fuelling procedure. (It jumped 80 litres after we stopped pumping at 1800 litres even though we were filling at a very slow rate from 1700-1800)</p> <p> </p> <p>Fuel tank is full (100%) when gauge is around 1880 litres (not the maximum 2000)</p>
