Port genset. We have run the Port genset for all 3 days of operation as its hours were low due to it previously being off line. Port Genset is running well. Genset isolator is now near genset battery bank.

<p>Hi all,</p> <p>There are new battery isolators for the gensets found near the genset batteries banks. The genset isolator on the main board is now only used to parallel the battery banks.</p> <p>We had a spring perish on the Port shaft seal & it leaked approx 60 litres of raw water into the bilge. Brodie has fixed this over the weekend but it would be worthwhile to keep an eye out for the same problem on the Starboard side & watch for any water in bilge. I have degreased both engine rooms & laid out fresh soaker pads. Both engine rooms are dry. <br /> thanks </p> <p>sullage was pumped on Monday night & only went down to 9%. <br /> </p> <p>If the warning ! Mark comes up on the genset monitor in the helm, it is likely to be a battery over charge warning. Port genset had this warning briefly yesterday voltage was at 28.1 volts. You can turn battery charger for that genset off in the engine room briefly but don't forget to turn it back on!</p> <p>Jodie<br /> </p> <p> </p>
