Hey there welcome back. Hope you had a good off swing
Main engine services completed on 7th &8th June
no major changes have been made to the general operation of mains and gensets in regards to valves and battery isolators.
port battery charger is running high volts. So we have been asked by maintenance to turn it on during the night when you are completing shutdowns. And to be turned back on in the morning during start up. The charger under the wheelhouse dash is running opposite, so the master is to turn it off at night during shutdown and turn on in the mornings.
As mentioned port generator starter motor is still lazy. Still waiting on new one to arrive that was ordered by maintenance. Been running gensets day for day.
Main and genset levels seem to be remaining consistent, no known leaks
The Humphrees are currently not working, alarm remains on panel in the wheelhouse. Constant buzzing sound coming from units in tiller flats on both sides. Cables have been checked, no visible issues. MRF has been submitted and maintenance are aware. Note, the master will not be able to start the main engines if the humphree control panel in the wheelhouse is not on.
Port pong box is still weeping from previous leak. Maintenance have attempted to seal it and are aware it still has a small leak.
Port life rafts have been spun around as they were installed the wrong way the first time. Now match the STB side in the correct position.
Fuelled to 80% for handover on Tuesday 17th, Fresh water at 1000L and sullage emptied.
Have a good swing. Hope she runs well for you.
