Hi Jag.
Welcome back!
The Aft fire flaps were more difficult than usual to reset when checked for monthly's. We had to ask the maintenance team to reset & free up the cable on the starboard aft fire flap. Keep an eye on it as it dropped a couple of times after being reset..
Port mains & gear boxes were serviced on 3/12/24. Gear box cooler lines both Fwd & Aft were replaced 5/12/24.
Working at heights & winch inspection were conducted and they tagged out the dyneema just past lifting eye as they believe dyneema is frayed, it is possibly just the end of splice but the tag out will need to be removed by the contractor. We are waiting for Gene to get back & assess.
We have placed a hazard identification through DataWeb in regards to the MOT ramp stricking the aft Midships door frame when there is wash or a continual rough sea state or swell. Please review & supply any information to management that you feel is relevant. We are asking for a more permanent way to block the fwd side of the ramp from rolling/ twisting forward & changing the angle of ramp under movement & therefor creating a possible pinch/ crush zone.
