Hi all,
It's Jodie here. I've just been onboard Torresian for the weekend, so I can only tell you what I know & have done.
The Starboard Main engine has been surging usually at the higher end of RPM and is gain approximately 100 RPM at intervals of anywhere from 30 secs to two minutes. The Scania display shows a fault code under the throttle sensor. COO 1000 Status Passive ( A2) Counter 255 which has been photographed and sent to Matt at Maintenance.
The Port Main seems to be leaking more oil than ever and I have been changing out soaker pads daily & monitoring oil levels closely. The Port main is also loosing a lot of coolant as before.
on Saturday Chris & I fueled vessel & washed down the Port side & bow. Chris also spliced anew forward spring line for the Marina berth.
on Sunday. Dan & I cleaned the main strainers, air conditioning units & filters, hatch's & latches, ran fire pumps & cleaned genset strainers underconfined space permit. The only item left to complete weeklies are the fire pump strainers. WE Washed down the starboard side & aft deck and scrubbed floor in outer toilets. We had a 15.00 & a 15.30 so we ran short on time to do fire pump strainer but passed over to Mondays crew to complete weeklies. Thanks
