-Port main still sitting at higher temp than stbd (around 10 degrees) when at idle and initially under way, then drops back to normal temp. MRF submitted for a new thermostat. Waiting on parts
-Mains and Genset servicing on your first morning (14/9) at marina berth
-Vessel has had jet rebuild completed. Vessel running great, watch your speed!
-I still think that the current bunkering system leaves for a potential spill, as we have found that ‘fill in skippers’ don’t quite get that the caps on the side you are NOT bunkering from need to be closed, and that you must fill from respective sides. I did put an MOC in on my last day swing to see if we could just cable tie close the port cap on the stbd side and the stbd cap on the port side to at least avoid filling from the wrong side or fuelling the wrong filler, but never heard anything back. Filling from respective sides works well by being able to monitor that sides breather for overflow, but if the cap on the other side is left off.. there will be a spill! Anyway, I’ve raised it with no feed back so as long as we know and can maybe reiterate that info with any temporary skippers coming on board is all we can do I guess ?
-Check flagged emails.
