<p>Hi Jodie, welcome back;</p> <p>Port side Genset ran rough on start up in the morning 25/08. Shut down and started again and ran fine. On start up for afternoon shift it ran rough again (as if it wasn't running on all cylinders) tried to restart 3 times but would not fix the issue MRF 7887 submitted. Maintenance onboard to inspect Genset 07/09, reset ECU pin. <strong>Advised if it starts rough locally then try starting it from the PLC. </strong>This procedure seemed to work whenever we had issues starting it from the engine room during prestarts.</p> <p>Gas struts on GL3 ramp not functioning properly. MRF 7895 submitted.</p> <p>Port jet room hatch gasket seal loose. MRF 7900 submitted. Repaired 08/09</p> <p>Maintenance replaced STB mid ship self closing door strut 08/09</p> <p>Maintenance onboard to completed void checks and fuel shut offs 06/09</p> <p>Port and starboard aft mains- Both hydraulic inlet hoses on gearbox cooler weeping oil MRF 7925 submitted. (Port = inboard side of cooler) (starboard = outboard side of cooler)</p> <p>Stbd fwd main - I noticed salt water residue coming from silicon exhaust connection forward of engine room access ladder. I've tightened the hose clamps so thought this might fix it, let's just keep an eye on it before submitting a MRF.</p> <p>Im back on board for extra shifts tomorrow Thursday 15th and Friday 16th if you need any further information on any of the above. <br /> </p> <p>See you then.
