Hi all,
Welcome back.
You might notice that The Port Aft main is reading 0.2 - 0.3 lower than the other 3 mains at the same RMPs & it reads that it is carrying 8-19% more load than the othe 3 mains. Maintenance came out for sea trials on the 7/4/2022 and their computer said that all mains had even load& boast. Brody has looked for any evidence of boast pressure drop on the Port main & couldn't find anything. The maintenance team believed that the Scania guage may have been giving a false reading & they swapped the dash port fwd & port aft guage. The readings are still showing low boast high load on the Port aft. MRF was summinted after initial investigation but rejected as maintenance believes it is a sender fault to the guage.
The Port Jet room hatch is very difficult to open. Jacob has spent quite a bit of time greasing up the dog latch but it is still difficult. An MRF 7472 has been submitted.
Ive ordered SDS stickers for the 10 w 40 main engine oil in the 29 litre drum & for the Valvoline genset coolant in the 5 litre drum.
