Hi James,
Welcome back mate,
We have got a few jobs done during the swing and created a few more.
STB FWD main has had the exhaust manifold, coolant pump outlet, side cover gasket and exhaust mixer replaced and is all running well. There may still be a small amount of coolant in the bilge, left over from the transplants however the engine is not leaking anywhere. Just keep an eye on it.
We had an exhaust clamp let go on the STB aft exhaust muffler which put quite a lot of raw water onto the bilge. I have hosed and decreased the eng bay as best as I could. The STB generator has suffered from the water ingress and now has to be pulled out and replaced. That is why it is tagged out, Craig Gibbo was down today to start on it so you may see him later on.
Port aft turbo is trying to blow a seal out so just keep an eye on it thanks, oh, and the exhaust clamps, they all seem to be ok at the moment. All port engines are running sweet.
Emergency light batteries have been replaced
MRF has been put in for the rafts, fire extinguishers, hoses and all vessel checks due this month.
Shaun said that he has all the mains booked in for servicing on the 19th of this month.
The hand held UHF of ours is playing up a bit, I did manage to make it work with a bit of contact cleaner and wiggling. I have not put a MRF in on it yet, see how you go, you may want too.
Have a great swing mate..... Darren. 0404 490 905.
